Welcome to the Cherry Park House. Enjoy the ultimate Portland vacation at our fabulous 5 bedroom home. Our newly updated and spacious home (3100 Sq ft) is located in the Cherry Park neighborhood of Southeast Portland. A large lot situated on a quiet tree lined street this vacation rental is only minutes from Portland’s multitude of attractions.
Ideal for family gatherings, corporate groups or reunions! Fully furnished with everything needed to unpack your suitcase and be set up. Just 2 minutes to the I-205 makes this the perfect location to all places in Portland. 15 minutes to the airport, downtown or the convention center. I-84 is a 5 minute drive. Grocery stores are 5 minutes away. Walk to several Tri-Met bus lines to downtown, Clackamas Towne Center or Sauvie Island.
Open concept living on main floor makes this home live large! This home has 4 levels and 2900 sq ft. Bedrooms on upper and lower levels.There are 9 real beds – all new and comfy. Lower level is full walkout daylight with lots of light. Central A/C makes this house very comfortable during the dog days of summer. Gas furnace keeps it cozy in the winter. Child friendly with games, Cherry Park and an elementary school playground nearby. Easy on street and driveway parking. Digital keyless entry makes it’s easy to come and go, no keys required. Super comfy beds and crisp new linens. All linens and towels are included and the kitchen is set up to accommodate your large group. There are appliances including coffeemaker, toaster, microwave, blender, electric skillet, rice cooker, crockpot and of course full size range and convection oven. Basic cooking supplies such as pot and pans, utensils, spices, oil, etc also included.
HDTV over the fireplace with cable and wireless internet. Free wif-fi. Washer and dryer available with laundry supplies included.
Bedrooms 1, 2, and 3 are upstairs. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and a twin bed, Bedroom 2 has a king bed and a twin bed and Bedroom 3 has a queen bed.
On the lower level there are 2 more bedrooms – Bedroom 4 has a queen and Bedroom 5 has a queen bed. There is a common area with a single daybed and trundle bed.

This property is secured with outside video surveillance and a Ring audio/video doorbell.
Public transportation is nearby, bus is a block away and Tri-Met – the MAX train is less than a mile. It’s 15 to 20 minute drive to everything to do in Portland or the airport. Cherry Park is about a 2 minute walk, nice place to gather and play some lawn games. The Mall 205 is within walking distance so it’s not far for shopping, restaurants and the Target has groceries.
Events and Noise:
The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood which gives you the true Portland experience. It is not an appropriate location for events or parties. There are noise restrictions after 9:00pm. At that time outside gatherings will have to move inside or to a local establishment. Please be respectful of the neighborhood.
Quiet hours are 9pm til 8am, strictly enforced. The house is available for registered guests only. No hosting of gatherings, parties, showers, events that include outside guests . Activity monitored by manager next door and outside video surveillance. These rules are per the City of Portland. There is no smoking or vaping in the house. No Pets.
The City of Portland requires the names and addresses of all guests as well as the model and license plate numbers of any vehicles. Guest information is required prior to sending access instructions and vehicle info can be a picture text after arrival.

Manager lives right next door so there is someone to address any issues or concerns during your stay.
NOTE: ** This home has a “Type 2 procedure Land Use Review CU – Conditional Use” permit which is now required for 3-to-5-bedroom vacation rentals per a recent change in the Short Term Housing Law in Portland. If you are checking other vacation rentals, be sure to ask the owner if they have this permit which is required to operate legally under the new law in the city (and this is an indicator for guaranteeing your reservation).**
Cancellation Policy: We have a general no refund policy. That being said, we also attempt to rebook your dates and if we are successful you will get a refund for any days rebooked. We highly encourage you to purchase travel insurance and if you need help finding a policy we can direct you. Payment requirements are 50% upfront and 50% due 65 days prior to your reservation start. The tax rate for Portland is 11.5% and if you pay by credit card there is an additional 3% fee. You can pay by check and avoid the 3% fee. We do not accept American Express.
The City of Portland requires the names and address of all guests on the reservation and they also want to know the license plate and model number of any vehicles. I wish this silly rule wasn’t in force but it is so we will be asking you this information prior to your arrival. You may also text a photo of your vehicles upon arrival.
The property is deemed acceptable 30 minutes after you check in. Any questions or concerns will be addressed in a timely manner and we will enter the property to make any repairs or address any concerns.
We do not issue refunds but we do take care of any problems or concerns.
You will have to sign a lease, provide a copy of your driver license and a copy of the front of your credit card. We realize this is an inconvenience but scammers are out there and we make sure we are protecting you as well as ourselves.
The property is accessed by digital keyless entry because really – keeping track of a key on vacation is a hassle.
